Baby Webster-- 23 Weeks

Well... It's been a few weeks since I have posted. Technically I am 24 weeks, but I haven't had a chance to take a picture quite yet, I have been working nights and it just hasn't been #1 priority. :) So instead you get a 23 week post! I seriously cannot believe that I am already 23 weeks along, time has really gone by fast. Hopefully the rest of the pregnancy will also!

How far along: 23 Weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Been a little while since I have been on the scale so I have no idea.

Maternity clothes: Not yet.

Stretch marks: Not yet.

Sleep: I am still sleeping fairly well. I wake up a handful of times through the night for various reasons, but I still feel pretty good when I get up in the morning. I am trying to enjoy it while I can!

Best moment last week: Matt getting to feel her move for the first time. I could tell it kind of caught him off guard, but I love that he is able to at least feel a little bit of what I feel all day these days.

Movement: So much more in the last few weeks than before! She is quite active when I am laying down on my back. Sometimes it's a really weird feeling, but mostly I love it because I know things are going ok.

Food cravings: Still the good ol' 7-11 nachos! I have done good though and not ate them like I did for a week or two a few weeks ago.

Gender: She was still a girl at our big anatomy ultrasound with the doctor, thank goodness!

Labor signs: No. I have started getting Braxton Hicks contractions which is a strange feeling. They don't hurt, it is just a weird feeling to feel everything tightening up.

Belly button - in or out?  It is still about even. So not really in or out at the moment.

What I miss: I honestly am loving the pregnancy right now, but ask me again in 8 weeks or so and we will see how I feel about it. :)
There isn't anything that I am missing too much. I just can't wait to meet our baby girl!

What I am looking forward to: Just seeing our little girl grow and develop to where she needs to; it makes my expanding waistline more than worth it.

Milestones: Matt feeling her move around and also our ultrasound a few weeks ago. She was measuring a tad small, but we are ok with a small baby. :) The doctor was not worried about her size, she still falls into the normal category, just on the smaller side of normal. I love having new ultrasound pictures to hang on the fridge and show off!

The dreaded NCLEX....

Last week I took my big, huge, ugly, scary, (insert any bad adjective here...) NCLEX. I have been preparing for this day since nursing school started and it was my last step before I could begin working as a Registered Nurse. I stressed myself out  to the max and might have even had a slight melt down the morning of my test (I blame most of the melt down on hormones, but regardless it still happened..). I got to the testing center and 220 something questions later my test shut off and the wait began to see if I passed. Matt took me to lunch to try to keep my spirits up, but lets be honest, I was pretty blah all afternoon.

7:00 the next morning I checked online and guess what I saw???

Its official! I can now add RN after my name. The best feeling in the world is when years of hard work finally pays off. I am so grateful for all the support my husband and family gave me through all the crazy and hard times. (and many meltdowns too, of course)

Now I am determined to find myself  a good book to read that has absolutely no educational value to it. :)

Baby Webster-- 20 Weeks

How far along: 20 Weeks-- That is halfway! I think it is a good excuse to celebrate right???

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 7-8 lbs

Maternity clothes: Nope, I still haven't bought anything that is "maternity". I am holding out as long as I can. :) Still wearing my pre-pregnancy jeans and shirts. My baby bump is starting to move up quite a bit which actually makes it easier to wear my original pants. We will see how long it lasts though.

Stretch marks: Still a no. I am just waiting for the day I find the first one.

Sleep: I am still sleeping pretty well. It's a good thing we upgraded to our king sized bed with all the pillows I have started sleeping with these days though. Poor Matt is getting pushed right out of bed between me, the pillows, and the dogs. Good thing he loves us all!

Best moment last week: This last weekend Matt painted the nursery. I love it! I can't wait to finish all the trim so that we can start putting things together. (I will post pictures soon!)

Movement: Still just here and there. I notice her the most when I am laying on my back really concentrating. I can't wait to feel her more and more, sometimes the reassurance that everything is ok would be nice!

Food cravings: 7-11 Nachos. If you've never had them, go, now! And get a slurpee while you are at it. :)

Gender: Girl. We have our big "anatomy" ultrasound next week with the doctor, so hopefully she is still a girl then. If not I guess Matt has a bunch more painting to do, and we have clothes to return...

Labor signs: Nope.

Belly button - in or out?  It is about breaking even right now.. not really in but definitely not out yet. But I don't see it staying in for long... bummer.

What I miss: This week I started wishing I could sleep on my stomach again. But I guess if that is as bad as it gets then I can handle 20 more weeks.

What I am looking forward to: Our ultrasound next week. I love seeing her, and it will be great to have the doctor check her out head to toe to make sure she is looking healthy!

Milestones: Definitely working on the nursery. I haven't been much help thus far but I have started a few things to put up in the room and I can't wait to see it all together!

Baby Webster-- 16 Weeks

I forgot to take a 16 week picture-- so instead here is 17 weeks!

How far along: 16 Weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss:  4 ish lbs

Maternity clothes: No, but I am rocking the hair elastic to keep my jeans buttoned. Sweet, I know!

Stretch marks: Nope!

Sleep: Actually pretty good. I am up 1-2 times to use the bathroom but I'm feeling good. Definitely not near as tired as I have been.

Best moment last week: Last week... Hmm.. We went on a quick weekend vacation to St. George. A very nice getaway! (Expect we are realizing that this time next year everything we do will be quite different.)

Movement: Yes. I think. Sometime in week 15 I started feeling what I thought was little flutters and I am getting more and more sure that I am feeling baby move.

Food cravings: Spicy and I are still BFF's!

Gender: Baby Webster is...... a GIRL!! We could not be more excited! Of course we would have been happy with a boy or a girl, but I can't wait to hold my baby girl in my arms! And Matt is very excited also!

Labor signs: No.

Belly button - in or out?  Still in.

What I miss: Hmmm... Honestly I am not missing much. I am feeling great and I wouldn't change where I am in my life for anything.

What I am looking forward to: Officially buying "girly" things! However, I have promised Matt I won't buy ONLY pink things. :)

Milestones: Finding out the gender of Baby Webster! I love getting to see her in the ultrasound pictures and getting to actually call her "her" instead of "baby". We are in love already!

Baby Webster is a..... GIRL! :)

Yesterday, at 16 weeks, we were able to find out that Baby Webster is indeed a girl

Since the beginning I have felt that this baby was going to be a little girl, but recently I started doubting myself. I had a dream one night that was about a baby boy and I thought maybe it was supposed to mean something. However, right before our ultrasound Matt and I both gave our final votes. He said boy. I said girl going back with my first instinct. We would have been over the moon about either a boy or girl, but we are very happy we get to welcome a little girl into our family! We are in love with her already!

Baby Webster-- 15 Weeks & Heatstroker Softball Tournament

I've made it to 15 weeks! Yay! :)
This weekend we had the opportunity to go to St. George for the "Heatstroker" softball tournament. Matt was invited to play with a team and we had a lot of fun! It was very warm, ok that is an understatement, it was HOT! But the games were at night so that was nice. Friday night the team played all through the night; and when I say ALL through the night I mean it. 10 O'clock PM, 1 O'clock AM, 3 O'clock AM, 4 O'clock AM, 5 O'clock AM, and 7 O'clock AM Saturday morning. It was a long night and I am proud to say that I only dozed off during one game, go me! :)
The weekend was a very nice get away. We were able to stay with  Josh, Katy, Blake, and Riki so it was nice to have people to hang out with between naps. It was a very much needed break and it was a bummer to have to come back!

Baby Webster-- 14 Weeks

I decided maybe I wouldn't do a post each week with an updated survey just because things don't change that quickly.. ha. I promise though, if anything changes I will definitely post! Here is an updated belly picture of me.

Also, this week we got the chance to get a little peek of baby! We were hoping to get a peek at either the lady or man parts but baby decided not to corporate with us so we will try again in a few weeks. Just for fun here are a few ultrasound pictures. :)

Profile of face with arm waving next to the head :)
We are so in love with this little guy or girl already!!

Headstand!
