Baby Shower

On November 16th my mom and mother-in-law threw me and this lucky little girl a baby shower. It turned out SO wonderful! It was great to have both sides of the family together along with many friends. My mother-in-law is a decorating genius and made the church gym look WAY better than just a church gym and my mom put together all of the yummy goodies!
In all my pregnancy wonderfulness put the pictures on the computer from my camera and some how managed to delete 50 of the 84 pictures that were taken that day... So until I can figure out how to get them back-- if at all possible-- I will just post a few!

The start of the food table

Cute rubber duckies and bottles that were party favors

Cupcakes- courtesy of Jeanette

Some of the decorations

We could never forget Addy's HUGE bear! :)

Gift table

Silly girls-- This is what I get when we put them in charge of the camera! :)

Beautiful ladies-- Love them all!
And big thanks to this lady for all she has done for me, love her to death! :)

Thank you for everyone that came to the baby shower! This little girl is SO spoiled already-- I can't believe all the outfits, accessories, and other things we got. It is not an understatement when I say that she probably won't wear the same thing twice for a long while!
We are so blessed to have such supportive family and friends around us. We wouldn't be where we are today with out them. As excited as we are for this bundle of joy to join our little family, we are just as excited to get to share this experience with everyone around us.
Thank you again for everything!

Baby Webster-- 31 Weeks

**Obviously I am a little behind... let the catch-up begin!**

How far along: 31 Weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Still going up. :)

Maternity clothes: I am still wearing my one pair of maternity pants-- but I am also still wearing my pre-pregnancy jeans. Heaven forbid I wear the same pants everyday for the rest of my pregnancy! My old pants still fit surprisingly well.
Stretch marks: Still none.
Sleep: About the same as it has been the last while. Off and on.
Best moment last week: Nothing is sticking out.. But I am a little behind so it's hard to remember..

Movement: Yep. She is still moving quite a bit. I have her little bum pushing into the left side of my ribs and her feet off to the right. She also has the hiccups quite often.
Food cravings: Same as before. Spicy.

Gender: She better still be a girl.. ha

Labor signs: I have had more and more Braxton Hicks contractions. No real ones yet though.

Belly button - in or out?  Out. Depends on the day how far out it sticks.

What I am looking forward to: Meeting this little girl. I know I always say that, but it's true!

Milestones: Baby shower this week! Yay! :)

Baby Webster-- 27 Weeks

Growing, growing, growing!

How far along: 27 Weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I have gained right around 15 lbs so far.. According the doc this is exactly where I should be at this point. I will take his word for it. :)

Maternity clothes: I did it, I finally caved, and let me tell you-- BEST DECISION EVER! I kept telling myself that I wasn't going to buy maternity pants, mine still fit fine they just didn't button. (My dad could not get over the fact that I was holding my pants together with a hair elastic. Love him.) But a few weeks ago my mom and I went shopping and I decided to just try some maternity pants on. Let me just tell you, they are heaven! I haven't put on a single pair of my old jeans since. And yes, I have already considered buying a second pair.

Stretch marks: Nope.

Sleep: Meh. Sleep has not been my best friend the last few weeks. Whatever I guess, I don't see it getting much better anytime soon.

Best moment last week: We are getting things done in the nursery little by little which I love. It is exciting to see it finally all coming together!

Movement: Yes sir. She has her moments where she is a wild child (do you know who her dad is???) but I love it. I still feel her all over the place (but mostly down low) so I don't think she has settled into a single position yet, but I don't mind that her feet aren't up in my ribs.

Food cravings: Same ol' things. Spicy. 7-11 nachos. And my newest is milk. I have NEVER been one to just drink a glass of milk, but this little girl must need the calcium or something because that has changed!

Gender: Girl, and a cute one at that! We got to do a 3D ultrasound last week and got a good picture of her face and hands. Technology is so amazing!

Labor signs: Nope. I am getting more and more Braxton Hicks contractions but nothing that the doctor is worried about.

Belly button - in or out?  Still about flat with my belly, however it is starting to work it's way out. It is only a matter of time I am sure.

What I miss: My stomach muscles. This last week Matt has found it pretty funny that if I am laying flat I can't sit straight up by myself anymore. I have to do more of a side movement and get my momentum behind me. He sees me struggling, gets a few good giggles in, and then is a sweetheart and helps me sit up.
So yes, I miss the simple movement of being able to sit up from a lying position, but I'll take it.

What I am looking forward to: Only 13 weeks left.. How crazy is that! I am looking forward to the end. (However, I am scared out of my mind as well!)

Milestones: Making it to the 3rd trimester! Yay me! :)

And just for fun--

Webster Family Pictures 2013

We took family pictures with Matt's family a few weeks ago and they turned out so cute
I couldn't help but share! I sure married into a great family!
 (Warning: Picture overload below!)

The Boys

Pictures wouldn't be complete without a picture
of the boys being silly

The Girls.

All the kids.

I hate this picture of me, but it is 100% how
we are when everyone is together.

All of us again.

Our album cover shot-- serious faces and all. :)

One of my favorites of everyone.

Everyone again.

And one last one

The Doggies

Our sweet little Ollie loves to sit like this on the couch with me. He either has his paw on my belly or he is resting his head on it. He has also become quite the snuggler which is nice. Love him!

Excuse the bare belly picture...

Then there is Mya... Ha just kidding. She is just so full of energy that she can be pretty crazy! But she is getting better. It is hard for me to remember that she is still a puppy because she out grew Ollie months ago. Hopefully by the time the baby gets here she will mellow out a little more. Love her too!

Baby Webster-- 23 Weeks

Well... It's been a few weeks since I have posted. Technically I am 24 weeks, but I haven't had a chance to take a picture quite yet, I have been working nights and it just hasn't been #1 priority. :) So instead you get a 23 week post! I seriously cannot believe that I am already 23 weeks along, time has really gone by fast. Hopefully the rest of the pregnancy will also!

How far along: 23 Weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Been a little while since I have been on the scale so I have no idea.

Maternity clothes: Not yet.

Stretch marks: Not yet.

Sleep: I am still sleeping fairly well. I wake up a handful of times through the night for various reasons, but I still feel pretty good when I get up in the morning. I am trying to enjoy it while I can!

Best moment last week: Matt getting to feel her move for the first time. I could tell it kind of caught him off guard, but I love that he is able to at least feel a little bit of what I feel all day these days.

Movement: So much more in the last few weeks than before! She is quite active when I am laying down on my back. Sometimes it's a really weird feeling, but mostly I love it because I know things are going ok.

Food cravings: Still the good ol' 7-11 nachos! I have done good though and not ate them like I did for a week or two a few weeks ago.

Gender: She was still a girl at our big anatomy ultrasound with the doctor, thank goodness!

Labor signs: No. I have started getting Braxton Hicks contractions which is a strange feeling. They don't hurt, it is just a weird feeling to feel everything tightening up.

Belly button - in or out?  It is still about even. So not really in or out at the moment.

What I miss: I honestly am loving the pregnancy right now, but ask me again in 8 weeks or so and we will see how I feel about it. :)
There isn't anything that I am missing too much. I just can't wait to meet our baby girl!

What I am looking forward to: Just seeing our little girl grow and develop to where she needs to; it makes my expanding waistline more than worth it.

Milestones: Matt feeling her move around and also our ultrasound a few weeks ago. She was measuring a tad small, but we are ok with a small baby. :) The doctor was not worried about her size, she still falls into the normal category, just on the smaller side of normal. I love having new ultrasound pictures to hang on the fridge and show off!

The dreaded NCLEX....

Last week I took my big, huge, ugly, scary, (insert any bad adjective here...) NCLEX. I have been preparing for this day since nursing school started and it was my last step before I could begin working as a Registered Nurse. I stressed myself out  to the max and might have even had a slight melt down the morning of my test (I blame most of the melt down on hormones, but regardless it still happened..). I got to the testing center and 220 something questions later my test shut off and the wait began to see if I passed. Matt took me to lunch to try to keep my spirits up, but lets be honest, I was pretty blah all afternoon.

7:00 the next morning I checked online and guess what I saw???

Its official! I can now add RN after my name. The best feeling in the world is when years of hard work finally pays off. I am so grateful for all the support my husband and family gave me through all the crazy and hard times. (and many meltdowns too, of course)

Now I am determined to find myself  a good book to read that has absolutely no educational value to it. :)

Baby Webster-- 20 Weeks

How far along: 20 Weeks-- That is halfway! I think it is a good excuse to celebrate right???

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 7-8 lbs

Maternity clothes: Nope, I still haven't bought anything that is "maternity". I am holding out as long as I can. :) Still wearing my pre-pregnancy jeans and shirts. My baby bump is starting to move up quite a bit which actually makes it easier to wear my original pants. We will see how long it lasts though.

Stretch marks: Still a no. I am just waiting for the day I find the first one.

Sleep: I am still sleeping pretty well. It's a good thing we upgraded to our king sized bed with all the pillows I have started sleeping with these days though. Poor Matt is getting pushed right out of bed between me, the pillows, and the dogs. Good thing he loves us all!

Best moment last week: This last weekend Matt painted the nursery. I love it! I can't wait to finish all the trim so that we can start putting things together. (I will post pictures soon!)

Movement: Still just here and there. I notice her the most when I am laying on my back really concentrating. I can't wait to feel her more and more, sometimes the reassurance that everything is ok would be nice!

Food cravings: 7-11 Nachos. If you've never had them, go, now! And get a slurpee while you are at it. :)

Gender: Girl. We have our big "anatomy" ultrasound next week with the doctor, so hopefully she is still a girl then. If not I guess Matt has a bunch more painting to do, and we have clothes to return...

Labor signs: Nope.

Belly button - in or out?  It is about breaking even right now.. not really in but definitely not out yet. But I don't see it staying in for long... bummer.

What I miss: This week I started wishing I could sleep on my stomach again. But I guess if that is as bad as it gets then I can handle 20 more weeks.

What I am looking forward to: Our ultrasound next week. I love seeing her, and it will be great to have the doctor check her out head to toe to make sure she is looking healthy!

Milestones: Definitely working on the nursery. I haven't been much help thus far but I have started a few things to put up in the room and I can't wait to see it all together!

Baby Webster-- 16 Weeks

I forgot to take a 16 week picture-- so instead here is 17 weeks!

How far along: 16 Weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss:  4 ish lbs

Maternity clothes: No, but I am rocking the hair elastic to keep my jeans buttoned. Sweet, I know!

Stretch marks: Nope!

Sleep: Actually pretty good. I am up 1-2 times to use the bathroom but I'm feeling good. Definitely not near as tired as I have been.

Best moment last week: Last week... Hmm.. We went on a quick weekend vacation to St. George. A very nice getaway! (Expect we are realizing that this time next year everything we do will be quite different.)

Movement: Yes. I think. Sometime in week 15 I started feeling what I thought was little flutters and I am getting more and more sure that I am feeling baby move.

Food cravings: Spicy and I are still BFF's!

Gender: Baby Webster is...... a GIRL!! We could not be more excited! Of course we would have been happy with a boy or a girl, but I can't wait to hold my baby girl in my arms! And Matt is very excited also!

Labor signs: No.

Belly button - in or out?  Still in.

What I miss: Hmmm... Honestly I am not missing much. I am feeling great and I wouldn't change where I am in my life for anything.

What I am looking forward to: Officially buying "girly" things! However, I have promised Matt I won't buy ONLY pink things. :)

Milestones: Finding out the gender of Baby Webster! I love getting to see her in the ultrasound pictures and getting to actually call her "her" instead of "baby". We are in love already!

Baby Webster is a..... GIRL! :)

Yesterday, at 16 weeks, we were able to find out that Baby Webster is indeed a girl

Since the beginning I have felt that this baby was going to be a little girl, but recently I started doubting myself. I had a dream one night that was about a baby boy and I thought maybe it was supposed to mean something. However, right before our ultrasound Matt and I both gave our final votes. He said boy. I said girl going back with my first instinct. We would have been over the moon about either a boy or girl, but we are very happy we get to welcome a little girl into our family! We are in love with her already!

Baby Webster-- 15 Weeks & Heatstroker Softball Tournament

I've made it to 15 weeks! Yay! :)
This weekend we had the opportunity to go to St. George for the "Heatstroker" softball tournament. Matt was invited to play with a team and we had a lot of fun! It was very warm, ok that is an understatement, it was HOT! But the games were at night so that was nice. Friday night the team played all through the night; and when I say ALL through the night I mean it. 10 O'clock PM, 1 O'clock AM, 3 O'clock AM, 4 O'clock AM, 5 O'clock AM, and 7 O'clock AM Saturday morning. It was a long night and I am proud to say that I only dozed off during one game, go me! :)
The weekend was a very nice get away. We were able to stay with  Josh, Katy, Blake, and Riki so it was nice to have people to hang out with between naps. It was a very much needed break and it was a bummer to have to come back!

Baby Webster-- 14 Weeks

I decided maybe I wouldn't do a post each week with an updated survey just because things don't change that quickly.. ha. I promise though, if anything changes I will definitely post! Here is an updated belly picture of me.

Also, this week we got the chance to get a little peek of baby! We were hoping to get a peek at either the lady or man parts but baby decided not to corporate with us so we will try again in a few weeks. Just for fun here are a few ultrasound pictures. :)

Profile of face with arm waving next to the head :)
We are so in love with this little guy or girl already!!

Headstand!

Baby Webster--13 Weeks

How far along: 13 Weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss: At the Doctor this week I was +2 lbs

Maternity clothes: No maternity clothes, just my regular ones.

Stretch marks: Nope.

Sleep: I haven't been near as tired this past week, still loving to sleep but i have not felt like I need it as much as the last handful of weeks.

Best moment last week: Getting to hear the heartbeat again at my doctors appointment!

Movement: Not yet. I wish. It would be nice to know that baby is doing good between doctors appointments!

Food cravings: Still craving anything spicy. I also have never been much of a pepper eater, but we tried DP Cheese-steaks last week and oh boy was it yummy! I had their "Hot Pepper Cheese-steak" with extra cheese. It was topped with banana peppers and jalapenos, yummmm!

Gender: We are still counting down to the day we find out!

Labor signs: Nope, and that's a good thing!

Belly button - in or out?  In.

What I miss: Umm.. Nothing major so far. This pregnancy has been wonderful, I haven't been sick (knock on wood) and its been great!

What I am looking forward to: Same as last week. I still can't wait to find out gender and to start the nursery. I'm excited to paint and all that jazz.

Milestones: Had my 2nd doctors appointment which feels good. Its nice to go, hear the heartbeat, and know that everything is going good. Next appointment is at 17 weeks.

Baby Webster--12 Weeks

How far along: 12 Weeks, 1 Day

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Depends on the day, but I think I have gain a few pounds.

Maternity clothes: Nope, still in my regular clothes.

Stretch marks: Not yet… Hopefully not ever but I won’t get my hopes up.

Sleep: All I want to do is sleep. I wake up once or twice a night to go to the bathroom, but I’m still sleeping pretty good, just wish it was more!

Best moment last week: Brainstorming names with Matt and finding some that we agree on. It’s still hard though not knowing what we are having.

Movement: Nope. Can’t wait to finally feel her or she though.

Food cravings: Anything spicy. I have lucked out thus far and haven’t gotten heart burn or anything like that, so spicy foods are still my best friend. I can’t get enough of the “Hot Chili Sauce” that Wendy’s has. Random, I know.

Gender: Still unknown, but I can’t shake the feeling that I know what baby is. Guess we will find out if I am right or wrong in a few weeks. :)

Labor signs: No way Jose! (Thankfully)

Belly button - in or out?  I've always had an innie and it has stayed that way so far.

What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach and having the energy that I used to. I still occasionally will wake up on my stomach during the night but I am super uncomfortable when I do, so I think I have to kiss that goodbye for the next 6 months.

What I am looking forward to: Finding out if Baby Webster is a little boy or little girl. Can’t wait to pick out names and start buying things. Mostly I want to start the nursery.

Milestones: I felt really good this week when we hit the “12 week” mark. Technically the 2nd trimester doesn't start till next week but there is just something about 12 weeks that feels really good!
